Allied Arts Presents the 14th Annual
LLMM Luncheon!
with
Singer/songwriter
Jonathan Kingham
and special guest
Ryan Shea Smith
What do you get when you mix award-winning songwriters, a guitar, a blackboard and a bunch of school kids? A roomful – sometimes a school full! – of newly minted songwriters! You also get a lot of kids stoked about creative problem solving. After all, in order to write songs you have to figure out rhyme schemes and melodies along with collaboration and compromise.
Jonathan Kingham and special guest Ryan Shea Smith bring their love of music and creativity to Yakima for a weeklong residency with local schools. At the end of that week, they’ll perform at our annual luncheon where you can witness the moment when the kids take the stage!
As we all look ahead to this entertaining performance, would you commit to being a Table Captain? The job is simple: invite nine of your friends to join you for a fun and lighthearted time over a delicious lunch. Be sure to attend for new additions this year like wines by the glass available for purchase, art shopping opportunities, our fun ‘balloon raffle’ and much more.
This event is only $40 per person, a steal! Remember, all the funds raised from this performance will benefit Allied Arts cultural programs. As schools experience ever-more budget cuts, Allied Arts programs play an important role in “whole child” education. The time you spend with Jonathan, Ryan (and the children) will show you how much can be done with your help.
Please call Allied Arts at (509) 966-0930 or email office@alliedartsyakima.org by December 17th to reserve your table.
Thanks for helping Allied Arts reach out to our community through art. See you there!
